After a few months of panic, waiting and uncertainty, the Spanish government have reopened their borders and tourists from the UK and Europe can now travel the Mallorca, with most not needing to quarantine on return. Because of this, the past few weeks has seen a huge spike in people booking a last-minute holiday to places like Magaluf and grabbing some of the best deals of all time.

From the 1st July, hotels across Majorca have started to open and each week more and more announce they will be opening their doors to deal with the high demand. The good news means Magaluf is back on. We will still need to wait another year to see what the all-new BCM will look like, but Magaluf isn’t just about clubbing. If you are coming to Magaluf this August or September or are thinking about a quick trip away to forget what’s going on back at home, here is a list of some great places and things to do for the second half of this summer.

Oceans Beach Club

Ocean Beach Magaluf

A trip to Magaluf wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Oceans Beach Club. Located at the centre of the Magaluf beach, Oceans Beach has always been the go-to place for the ultimate daytime party. Their daily parties include the classic 90s Rewind Party every Friday and the signature party of the week, XO, which takes place every Saturday. A firm favourite for stags and hens, Oceans Beach Club is the perfect way to spend a day drinking and listening to some awesome house anthems by the beach.

Due to capacity laws, entrance tickets are no longer available for this summer and only guests with a VIP bed, booth or table that is reserved can enter. Bookings are taken directly on their website.

Magaluf beach

Known as one of the best beaches in Europe, the huge beach in Magaluf has always been a great place to spend a day tanning up and enjoying the resort. Even the pedal boats are on hand should you wish to take a trip to the famous island know as Lizard Island. With the temperature a standard 30+ degrees in August and September, the Magaluf beach is a great spot for enjoying the holiday vibes of Majorca.

Trips To Palma

Palma de mallorca

Whilst not for everyone, a trip out of Magaluf to the capital, Palma de Mallorca should definitely be experienced by everyone. This city is stunning with some great shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy during the day and during the night. While clubbing in Palma is out of the question, an opportunity to experience the capital of Majorca should not be missed.

Paseo Maritimo is the area you want to head to if you’re looking for bars. Based opposite the beautiful Port of Palma, home to some of the most expensive super Yacht’s in the World, the setting and choice is hard to beat.
For culture and some of the best Catalan architecture, wander into the heart of the city and the old town area behind the Cathedral, your Instagram will surely be in for a treat.
The choice of restaurants is endless, if its traditional Spanish tapas you’re after then La Lonja is the place for you but Palma isn’t restricted to tapas, something for everyone really is available, from fast food to Michelin stars!

Taxi’s from Magaluf are around 25€ and seat up to 4 people and takes around 15 minutes (depending on who your driver is). Remember you need your mask when using a taxi.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what to expect from Magaluf this year. With more bars, restaurants and attractions announcing their opening dates every day, this couldn’t be a better time to grab a cheap hotel and enjoy Magaluf and the amazing weather Majorca has to offer.
